Training session “How to Manage Sexual Harassment Complaints and Conduct Investigation” (2nd Feb 2018)

To promote the awareness of gender equity and to enhance the capability in handling sexual harassment and sexual bullying cases, CGE has invited Ms. Yvonne Luk, Secretary of the Committee Against Sexual Harassment from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) to offer our colleagues a training session on “How to Manage Sexual Harassment Complaints and Conduct Investigation” on 2nd February 2018.

Welcome Reception and Orientation for New Academic Staff 2017/2018 (6th Sept 2017)

To enhance the awareness of gender equity in the UM community, a presentation by the Acting Gender Equity Officer was arranged during Welcome Reception and Orientation for New Academic Staff on 6th September  2017. The presentation covered the introduction of the CGE, some legal references including the Guidelines for Handling Sexual Harassment and Sexual Bullying Cases and the procedures to lodge complaints, etc.

The Way to UM – New Students Orientation Programme: First Step to UM 2017/2018 (14th Aug 2017)

To enhance the awareness of gender equity in the UM community, a presentation was arranged during New Student Orientation on 14th August 2017. The presentation covered the introduction of the CGE, the Guidelines for Handling Sexual Harassment and Sexual Bullying Cases and the procedures to lodge complaints, etc. Moreover, each Residential College has included in its orientation the awareness and prevention of sexual misconduct.

2016/2017 New Faculty Welcome Reception & Orientation (24th Aug 2016)
